MMTVN’s Red Carpet Report team will be hosting the first Red Carpet event at the 2nd Annual Unofficial Google+ Film Festival (UGPFF) held on November 30th – December 2nd 2012 at the Los Angeles Film School.

eduKan’s program allows students to earn their AA degree online while starting in Spanish and learning English in the process. Unlike other English as a Second Language (ESL) programs, students will be able to complete their degree in 2 years.

At the 20th ICAI Conference Dr. Mark Sarver, CEO of eduKan will be discussing how he is using biometrics for student identity proofing to meet regulations, lower operational costs and maintain high levels of academic integrity for distance education.

Dr. Mark Sarver of eduKan delivered the afternoon session on opening day at NUTN 2012 entitled “Innovating Assessment while Assessing Innovation” where eduKan was also honored with the 2012 NUTN Institutional Achievement Award.

Dr. Mark Sarver, CEO of eduKan and Jeff Maynard, CEO of BSI will be presenting their case study at the Digital Learning Environments and Communities track at the Sloan-C 5th Annual International Symposium on Emerging Technologies for Online Learning.

MMTVN sponsors the Audience Choice Awards for the New Media Film Festival and will be streaming live from the opening red carpet celebrity interviews. CEO, Stephanie Piche, will also be moderating one of the festivals panels on the 13th of June.

Dr. Mark Sarver of eduKan will be testifying at the Negotiated Rulemaking for Higher Education hearing on the Federal Student Aid Programs and the methods needed to stop fraudulent activities related to distance education and financial aid.

eduKan can now identify students cheating through the use of their new biometric identity proofing software and reduce the costs related to physical proctoring and meet accreditation requirements for high academic integrity standards.
