Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy

Students from the Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy volunteered at the Harry Chapin Food Bank in Fort Myers. The L.I.F.E. Academy is a tuition-free, open-enrollment Lee County charter school for middle/high school students with developmental disabilities.

The Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy, a special needs charter school in Fort Myers, is hosting a "Treasure Sale" to raise money for the school's community-based instruction program. The sale starts Wednesday, October 17, 2012, and concludes on October 19.

Students of the Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy raised $1,200 by selling 30 hand-painted and decorated vases at the Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida Breakthrough Awards Luncheon in May.

With eight graduates in its 2012 commencement ceremony, the Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy celebrated its largest graduating class in school history. The L.I.F.E. Academy is a Lee County (Fla.) Charter School for students with intellectual disabilities.

Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy students will sell decorated pumpkins, fall candleholders and centerpieces, roasted pumpkin seeds and dog biscuits at a fall pumpkin sale fundraiser on October 19 & 20, 2011.

The Animal Refuge Center in North Fort Myers received more than 300 pounds of pet supplies, which were collected by the special-needs students of the Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy in Fort Myers.

Students of the Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy, a Lee County (FL) charter school for students with developmental disabilities, collected nearly 200,000 pennies this year as part of a school project called "Penny Power."
