LOCALpittsburgh will be sponsoring a pop-up fashion show featuring Kristi Boutique at Pan Asian Fusion located in Lawrenceville on May 19. Seating will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the fashion show will begin at 7:30 p.m.

LOCALpittsburgh's previous intern and writer of three years, Julianna Bagwell, has been promoted from lifestyle editor to managing editor. Bagwell is a 2013 Point Park University alumna with a B.A. in English/Creative Writing.

As a fan of music her entire life, Rachel Sappie joins LOCALpittsburgh to highlight the Pittsburgh music scene as well as provide content for LOCALcollege.

Stand up comedian and author Mike Buzzelli joins LOCALpittsburgh as an arts writer to cover plays, musicals, and other theater-related content. Buzzelli is a stand up comedian as well as a published author.

LOCALpittsburgh welcomes assignment writer Kenny Gould to specialize in food and drink around the Pittsburgh area. Gould is a Duke University alumnus who earned a degree in English.

DIY editor Leah George has joined LOCALpittsburgh's team of writers to produce editorials on DIY tips and step-by-step "how to" projects. As a child, George's parents were very creative and completed simple DIY projects around the house.

LOCALpittsburgh writer, Alison Hillard, will be producing an article giving insight on the bartending world through her weekly web column titled "Backbar". Work is all Hillard has known for as long as she can remember.

LOCALpittsburgh recently hired K.L. Graham, a film editor who will join LOCAL's writers to produce film-related articles.
