Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI)

Laboratory Testing Inc. has promoted Mike Hiller to Director of Metrology. He will oversee the operations of the Metrology division that provides calibration and dimensional inspection services.

Laboratory Testing Inc is honored to be a part of The Lehigh Valley Business Fastest Growing Companies awards program of 2012.

Frank Peszka has been promoted to Director of Quality. He will oversee LTI’s quality assurance needs to support testing and calibration and implement improvement projects to achieve LTI’s goals.

Brad Bergman, Metallography Supervisor, has earned the Standard of American Welding Society Certification and is now Certified Welding Inspector at Laboratory Testing, Inc.

Phil Trach of Laboratory Testing Inc. has been certified as a Pratt & Whitney Nondestructive Test Qualification Specification (NDTQ) SIM Level 3.

Laboratory Testing Inc. has been chosen as one of the Best Places to Work in PA for 2012. Laboratory Testing Inc., an accredited materials testing, nondestructive testing and metrology laboratory was also a past winner in 2002, 2009 and 2011.

Laboratory Testing Inc. now provides polymer tensile and hardness testing. Tensile testing measures tensile strength, yield and ductility while hardness testing determines a material’s resistance to indentation by penetration into the test sample.

LTI does Fracture Testing to ASTM E399 & E1820 to measure conditions where a crack in material will lengthen when subjected to loading. Specimens including SE(B) & C(T), can be tested to 55,000 lbs. of force at temps from -150° F to +350° F.

Laboratory Testing Inc. has expanded its A2LA accreditation to include an array of mechanical testing, metallurgical testing and chemical testing services.

Materials testing and metrology provider, Laboratory Testing Inc., will be attending the Power-Gen and Nuclear Power International exhibition and conference in mid-December 2011.
