Planting People Growing Justice Leadership Institute is participating in the 13th annual Give to the Max giving event taking place this year starting on Monday, Nov. 1 and culminating on Thursday, Nov. 18.

The NYC Big Book Award recognized The Inclusive Leader: Taking Intentional Action for Justice and Equity in the category of Leadership as a winner.

Author Dr. Artika Tyner released her newest children's book, "Akua is Great," at an event held at Saint Peter Claver (SPC) School in the historic Rondo community. She dedicated the book to SPC and stopped in to read to the school's kindergarten students.
