Mapmygenome launched a new low-cost personal genomics test, Sugargene, on November 28, 2014. Sugargene is a personal genomics test to understand the genetic risk of type 2 diabetes and obesity, nutrigenetics and management options.

BlackBerry is all set to take personal genomics in India to the next level with the new Mapmygenome app. A prerelease demo version of the app was unveiled on October 9, 2014, at the Blackberry Passport launch in Hyderabad.
