McScrooge's Wine & Spirits

McScrooge’s Wine & Spirits will hold a bottle signing, tasting and book signing in honor of Marvin “Popcorn” Sutton, perhaps the most famous Appalachian moonshiner, from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26.

Nic Donahue, portfolio sales manager for R.S. Lipman Company, will pour samples from Old Hickory Whiskey and Heroes Vodka from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 14 at McScrooge’s Wine & Spirits.

McScrooge’s Wine & Spirits will welcome Phil Prichard, master distiller and president of Prichard’s Distillery, for a special tasting and bottle signing Thursday, Dec. 24, from 2 to 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

As part of its Black Friday specials, McScrooge’s Wine & Spirits is offering one of Gurkha’s His Majesty’s Reserve cigars and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
