July 26th 2010 is the 20th Annivesary of the Americans With Disabilities Act. 54 million Americans have a disability and are protected by the ADA. 4 million Canadians with disabilities are still waiting for legal protection from discrimination.

Troubled boys more likely to die or be disabled by midlife, a Cardiff Wales study reports but the study findings are false. Using a small sample size and erroneous statistics, the study reverts to supersitious belief that disability is linked to sin.

The PEI Government has failed to improve the lives of persons with disabilities. Islanders with disabilities have the lowest incomes, receive only minimal supports and have their human rights abused on a daily basis without recourse.
