Cristopher Rodriguez was awarded several first prizes at the Rose and Shamrock Festival solo bagpipe competition in Lancaster, PA on Saturday, February 8th, 2025.  He was awarded first place in the Hornpipe/Jig, Piobaireachd, and 2/4 March events.

February is generally the first month for EUSPBA sanctioned bagpipe competitions in the Northeast. This month there are 2 competitions. The first is Rose & Shamrock Festival in Lancaster, PA on February 8th.

Cristopher Rodriguez was awarded the North American Amateur Piobaireachd Championship Grade 2 award on Friday, January 17th, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri.  There were 15 registrants for the competition, with 11 actually competing.

NYC Bagpipes has just concluded its busiest season to date.  Beginning with St. Patrick's season in March and ending with the NYC Tartan Day Parade, Cristopher Rodriguez of NYC Bagpipes was hired for over 30 performances, spanning four states.

On September 25th, 2021 NYC Bagpipes' bagpiper Cristopher Rodriguez helped the Sean McGonigal Memorial pipe band receive the 1st place award in the Grade 4 Pipe Band event held at the annual Celtic Classic festival in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
