As snow, sleet and below-freezing temperatures continue into this week, the Old Saybrook Fire Department (OSFD) reminds all motorists to be prepared as they travel local roads and highways.

The Old Saybrook Fire Department's Junior Division is pleased to host several upcoming Sunday pancake breakfasts, with the first breakfast scheduled for Sun, Jan. 25th, 8 am-noon

"Wreaths Across America" a traveling caravan escorted by the Patriot Guard Riders, will again return to Old Saybrook on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, with an ETA at 3 p.m where it will be met by local veterans, townspeople & students

State and local dignitaries, along with local veterans and Honor Guards, will gather Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 for the sixth annual lighting of the town and state's first official 'Heroes Tree' to honor veterans of CT.
