ProSales magazine, a national lumber publication, announced Parr Lumber winner of the magazine’s annual Excellence Award, the most prestigious awards program in the building supply industry.

Parr Cabinet Outlet in Fife has moved to a new location. The 23,000-square-foot store located at 3500-A 20th St East in Fife, will host an open house Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Parr Lumber has named Ron Rumple inside sales support of its Everett store. Rumple has worked in the building materials industry for 35 years.

Oregon owned Parr Lumber has been selected as a partner for “House Crashers,” a national home renovation show on HGTV and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Network.

Parr Lumber announced the completion of the custom-built playhouse for the Healing Garden at the Oregon Burn Center at Legacy Emanuel. The playhouse, built from supplies donated by Parr Lumber, was dedicated during a ceremony July 11, 2011.
