With a 14-slot 40GbE backplane and front-to-rear cooling, the PXS1340 13U ATCA Shelf is ideal for high-end telecom, defense,and networking applications. Designed to meet NEBS, the PXSPXS1340 provides full redundancy of all Field Replaceable Units.

The PXS0640 40GbE ATCA Shelf adds two node slots for a total of six node slots. This is accomplished by integrating the Ethernet switches, which typically populate two hub slots, with the Shelf Managers, to free up the two hub slots to be node slots.
