RUSNANO and Elecard Group of Tomsk, Russia will produce various electronic units using multimedia processors with technical norms of 90 nanometers to 65 nanometers.

A project to expand production of units for applying modified coatings of a single nanometer thickness on materials and goods with the help of a plasma magnetron discharge has won approval from the Supervisory Council of RUSNANO.

The total project budget is four billion rubles. The project’s mission is to introduce modern import-substituting and resource-saving technologies for applying functional coatings for a variety of industries.

Li-Ion Batteries targeted toward the growing market for green e-transportation will be produced in Novosibirsk (Russia) in 4 production lines from Thunder Sky (China). Proprietary technologies include a unique system for rapid battery charging.

As of December 23, 2009, the Supervisory Council of RUSNANO had approved financing for 61 projects. Total financing for these 61 projects is 192.8 billion rubles; RUSNANO will finance 91 billion rubles as its share in the projects.
