RAM - Racine Art Museum

RAM's Third Annual International PEEPS® Competition is now accepting entries from artists of all ages to participate in the only museum competition of this kind in the world.

The Racine Art Museum is pleased to be one of five museums nationwide to host the first major retrospective of ceramic artist Karen Karnes. Open January 29 through May 27, 2012, the exhibition features 69 masterworks from this pioneering artist.

Accompanying the exhibition Terra Nova, the 140-page hardcover book by Rachel Carren, Bruce W. Pepich and Lena Vigna, combines illuminating text and ideas about polymer.

This exhibition features the work of nine emerging and established artists who create tangible responses to the intangible ideas evoked by a "place."

Frank Lloyd Wright not only influenced Racine's own skyline but more significantly, his work has influenced artists, as well as other building designers and environmental planners, for nearly a century.

RAM introduces RAM on the Road, also known as Wustum on Wheels, a vehicle covered with art and loaded with supplies, to bring the joy of creating art to kids and adults of all ages.
