Zuma's Rescue Ranch, a Littleton based Equine Rescue and Welfare Agency has recently been appointed to a position on the Homes for Horse Coalition steering committee. Jacque Schultz of the ASPCA granted the organization a $500.00 travel stipend.

Tammy Cunningham recently donated a mobile therapy unit to Zuma's Rescue Ranch. This generous donation will allow Zuma's to take a few of the animal therapy partners on the road to those unable to visit our 146-acre healing center in Littleton CO.

Google Ad Words has Selected Zuma's as a 2010 Grant Recipient. Google has awarded Zuma's up to $10,000.00 per month in FREE advertising. This is a sure way to assist our mission of helping At Risk Youth in the Metro Denver Area.

Zuma's Rescue Ranch Equine Therapy Center Has the opportunity to present a proposal to the Kenneth Kendall King Foundation. Zuma's will be competing for a $4,200.00 scholarship to fund one at risk youth for one year of therapy at the Littleton Center

Zuma's Rescue Ranch supports horses and children in need. 80% of foster children end up in our prison system and over 100 thousand horses end up at slaughter houses in Mexico and Canada. Zuma's pairs these victims in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.

One of Nebraska's worst cases of animal cruelty, neglect and abuse took place in April 2009 at the 3-Strikes Ranch in Alliance Nebraska. 74 Horses confirmed dead and 211 horses rescued from the owners. Many of these horses are in horrible shape.
