Ventura County Farm Day is free to attend. Pre-registration is suggested.

Elementary-age students in 72 schools from 27 School districts, from West Hills to Santa Maria, participated in immersive learning experiences in classrooms and on farms through SEEAG programs.

Guests will experience behind-the-scenes tours of farms, including tractor rides, produce tastings and giveaways, and plenty of kid-friendly activities.

The event will also raise funds for SEEAG's newly proposed 2.5-acre educational farm campus on underutilized Ventura County land.

The tour will take visitors through the Rincon Farms' avocado orchards, led by Sean Bettles, Rincon Farms' operations manager.

All proceeds benefit SEEAG's free Farm-to-Food Lab program in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

Nonprofits were selected by region based on their impact and address pressing issues in their community.

Attendees will tour the farm grounds, learn about how produce and flowers grow year-round and see firsthand the day-to-day life of local farmers.

The funds will enable SEEAG to provide 1,000 high school students with SEEAG's three-part STEM career exploration program.

SEEAG's programs are 100 percent cost-free for students, teachers and schools.
