The teens, many of them enrolled in agricultural-related school programs, will greet and check in visitors at each of the participating 18 Farm Day sites.

Over the next 20 years, hundreds of justice system-involved youth will participate in free pre-apprenticeship and paid apprenticeship opportunities that build technical agricultural skills and pathways to employment.

Twenty farms and agricultural organizations will open their doors from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during Santa Barbara Farm Day.

SEEAG with the Santa Barbara Unified District will host a regional SEEAG Farm Lab Hub, bringing together students of multiple age groups for hands-on agricultural and environmental education.

Visitors will get a behind-the-scenes tour at one of the region's premier wholesale nurseries.

SEEAG's programs, including Ventura and Santa Barbara County Farm Days, reach more than 15,000 students and community members annually.

The competition culminated in an in-person final showcase at CSU Channel Islands, held alongside the 18th Annual CSUCI Student Research Conference.

Visitors will tour the olive orchard and learn how different varieties of olive oil are made.

Almost 10,000 vegetable seedlings donated by Plantel Nurseries were distributed at Duda Farms and Petty Ranch, two participating farms.

Farm Day features tours, tastings, giveaways, and family-friendly activities while visitors learn first-hand about the hands and lands that provide food to local communities and the world.
