SIGVARIS North America has developed the STEP UP educational program to help medical product retailers and health professionals advance their knowledge of compression therapy in the treatment of venous disease.

Eighteen medical professionals came together on October 23, 2008 at a SIGVARIS certified fitter seminar held in East Brunswick, NJ to advance their knowledge of compression therapy in treating venous disease.

The SIGVARIS Messenger is a quarterly publication that focuses on compression therapy products, vein health topics and venous disease management industry events, and is distributed to medical professionals and durable medical equipment retailers.

SIGVARIS North America has partnered with Medshare International to donate compression therapy garments for use in the treatment of vein disease, varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis and other venous conditions in developing countries worldwide.

Pregnant women who experience swollen ankles and symptoms of venous disease including spider veins and varicose veins now have an educational resource from SIGVARIS® to learn about the pain-relieving and preventative benefits of compression therapy.
