The Tampa-based nonprofit organization, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, has received a coveted 4-star rating for the seventh year in a row from the nation’s leading charity watchdog group, Charity Navigator.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation announced today it will offer full college scholarships to the children of all of the U. S. military personnel who perished in the recent CH-47 helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation announced its largest single donation since 2001, a $1 million contribution from Goldman Sachs Gives, a donor-advised fund, to support the families of fallen and wounded special operations personnel.
