It's hardly 'Fame Academy', but young actors in Salford are taking to the stage this week with a series of short dramatic pieces, which dramatise the lives of their elders. Older people will see their memories brought to life on stage.

There's a date to put in your diary, September 12, when artist Lawrence Cassidy will be opening his new exhibition on Chapel Street, in the heart of Salford. It's photos, family snaps and maps, plus the odd street sign. Very odd.
