Hotel La Rosa de America

After nearly four years of collecting books from guests to our San Jose Airport Hotel, we are now approaching our goal of being able to donate 5,000 books to local schools in the La Garita, Alajuela region of Costa Rica.

Hotel La Rosa de America continues to thrive and thanks our many guests from around the world for our success. We have made more positive changes and upgrades to improve our service.

On January 8th 2009, the region centered on Poas Volcano in Central Costa Rica suffered a large earthquake. Heavy damage resulted from the initial shocks and the resulting landslides. In response, we have donated 100 meals tot the relief effort.

Hotel La Rosa de America, a small boutique airport hotel located in the town of La Garita, has had great success with it's book donation campaign. Over 500 books have been donated by guests to the hotel, and 350 have been locally distributed so far.

Looking back on one year of owning our La Garita, Alajuela hotel we have initiated many important changes. To improve customer service and international exposure, the hotel embarked on a major rejuvenation, with emphasis on customer service.
