Trenching in the northern La Patria area on the La Colorada – Esmeralda Gold Grid is awaiting surface access permission from the rancher holding the surface rights. This work will await the New Year.

All trenches are being sampled at about five meter intervals. The geochemical results from these samples will help to optimize the location of reverse circulation drill holes.

The underground gold mine at La Patria clarified the local framework structures. However, during mapping underground there we were challenged and had to back off from a very large rattlesnake!

Gravity separation is important at Don Luis because of the value of the heavy gold, tungsten and lead minerals at the property. Heap leaching with cyanide is important because it will likely be the main method or silver and gold recovery at Don Luis.
