Šechtl & Voseček Museum of Photography

Josef Jindřich Šechtl: Photographer's Diary 1928-1954 immerses the reader in the distinctive vision of Josef Jindřich Šechtl. Šechtl succeeded in using his 35mm Leica to capture the fleeting nature of private and public social events.

Exhibition takes place at Šechtl & Voseček Museum of Photography. Selection from over 22000 photographs. They show not only famous places and historical events, but they are also exceptional from a technical and artistic standpoint.

The Šechtl and Voseček Museum of Photography located in Tábor, Czech Republic has begun a new series of booklets on historic photography. Booklets are tentatively scheduled to be published three times a year in bilingual (Czech/English) edition.
