Haitian coffee in the U.S. is a rarity, especially green beans for commercial and home roasters. Singing Rooster launched the sale of green Haitian Mountain Bleu / Blue coffee beans on their website to help spread the word about this forgotten gem.

Haitians are incredible artisans and work in any medium they can find -- even junk. Singing Rooster now offers direct trade Haitian art: folk art, paintings, metal, even coconut nativities. All proceeds from art sales support our work in Haiti.

Singing Rooster was launched in the late summer of 2009 and received 501 (3)(c) status recently. The Rooster’s mission is to provide direct assistance to rural coffee farming communities in Haiti.
