Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort Names David Gosnell as Finance Director, Dan Hooper as Director of Skier Services

A fundraising event for the Spring Mountains Volunteer Association (SMVA), on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (LVSSR) announces that the Humoldt-Toiyabe National Forest Service has accepted its Master Development Plan (MDP). Included in the plan are 50 trails and 10 lifts, increased snowmaking and additional guest facilities.

The Sunshine Card is available for $150 starting Saturday, March 12, 2011 and is valid for unlimited skiing and boarding through the end of the season. The same day, LVSSR kicks off its 2011/12-preseason pass sales, offering savings up to 30 percent.

The 30 percent discount is being offered to local residents who work in the service industry or who are members of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.
