SPORTIME Coaches To Award Full And Partial Scholarships to Kids Ages 6-16; Spots Available At Randall's Island, Lake Isle, Bethpage JMTA Locations; Free 'Kid-Tacular' Event Introduces Tennis, Adds Fun For Kids 3-10

Hall of Famer and Founder of John McEnroe Tennis Academy John McEnroe will instruct kids and introduce his newest Academy Director, Fritz Buehning, at SPORTIME Lake Isle in Eastchester, N.Y. on Aug. 24. The session will run from 10 a.m. to noon.

Sportime King Park (N.Y.) will hold a tryout on June 23 for kids ages 6-16 to award scholarships to its junior tennis program and to search for potential scholarship students for the John McEnroe Tennis Academy.

Phillip Simmonds, former ATP pro and Long Island native, has been named to the staff at Sportime and the John McEnroe Tennis Academy. He will work at the Sportime locations in Syosset and Bethpage, N.Y.
