The National Caves Association, which represents more than 80 shows caves has declared June 6 as National Day of Caves and Karst to increase awareness of the roles both play in our lives and the environment.

Claudia Yundt, Director at Squire Boone Caverns, worked tirelessly to organize and plan the National Cave Association Convention for the past year, but was pleasantly surprised when she was awarded with a prestigious award at the closing banquet.
