Stancliffe Stone

Throughout the year Stancliffe run a series of visits to our quarries and processing works and stage road shows across the UK. These events feature RIBA approved CPD and always include independent guest speakers.

The design brief entitled H² Overflow, embraces the concept of the rain garden, incorporating water collection and filtration, which demonstrated rainfall management in an increasingly unpredictable and ever changing climate.

The management of the water course at Bentley and Henmore Brooks is the primary focus of the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust project, Water for Wildlife – and the protection of threatened species.

Stancliffe Stone will be showcasing British dimensional sandstones; limestones and ironstone sourced from well established quarries, actively worked since the 1800’s.

The Skills Competition 2010 was held over the freezing snowy weekend of the 27th – 28th November at Historic Scotland’s Central Depot in Stirling.

Dukes Barn is an Outdoor Education charity, based in Beeley, in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, providing outdoor adventure activities for all young people regardless of ability, especially wheelchair users.
