SuperGeo Technologies, the leading global provider of complete GIS software and solutions, today announced that the latest generation of its desktop geographic information system (GIS), SuperGIS Desktop 3, is officially released to global users.

SuperPad is selected by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, to collect and measure lands for education. The lands can be better managed and utilized, and thus bring more profits after using GIS technologies.

National Kaohsiung Marine University procured SuperGIS Desktop, plus Spatial Analyst and Biodiversity Analyst, for the research in marine biology.

National Museum of Taiwan History established a WebGIS platform, Ancient Map Geographic Information System, to manage more than 2,000 ancient Taiwan maps, and integrate the research results with present base map.

In addition to English and Chinese, SuperPad 3 was upgraded to support German, Spanish, and Japanese in February. Today, the RD Team at SuperGeo notified that SuperPad 3 also supports French language now.

SuperGeo is pleased to announce a successful sales performance in Africa, where the University of Lagos, Nigeria, purchased SuperGIS Desktop. The procurement is contributed by Arinmap Consultants, SuperGeo’s exclusive reseller in Nigeria and Ghana.
