If Israel strikes Iran prior to presidential election, President Obama is much more likely not to condemn Israel. Sanctions have failded. Iran reaching "zone of immunity". "October surprise" seems predictable.

Netanyahu and Barak have made the decision to strike Iran between August and October, before the U.S. presidential election. It is reported the cabinet will only be convened right before the strike to prevent leaks.
