Cape Breton 1st Social Media Conference will take place on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at MacAualy Conference Centre, Inverary Resort, Baddeck. The one day conference features three keynote speakers and thirteen sessions.

Victoria County will host an important workshop on Tourism Online Marketing on Monday, Nov. 16th at ST. Ann's, Cape Breton to provide the tourism industry with the tools to help plan and implement their Tourism Online Marketing Strategy in 2010.

Ride the Lobster is the world's longest unicycle race and is being held in Nova Scotia June 16-20. Cape Breton is hosting Stage 5 on Friday, June 20. the finish will take place in Baddeck, celebrating its 100th anniversary as a village.

Ride the Lobster, the World's longest Unicycle Race, 800 kms, is coming to Nova Scotia June 16-20. Thirty-five teams and 13 countries will be participating in this international race. GPS & Google Maps will be tracking teams during the race.
