Triunfo Water & Sanitation District

Three incumbent Triunfo Water & Sanitation District (TWSD) Board members were sworn in at the district's November 28 board meeting to serve new four-year terms.

The move coincides with TWSD's official transition into an independent water agency.

The board of directors approved reducing the amount of once-a-week sprinkler irrigation time per water station from 15 to 10 minutes effective October 1.

Artwork by Delilah Bovatsek, a second grader at Brookside Elementary School in Oak Park, was selected by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) to appear in its 2023 print calendar and digital library.

No election will be held for the seats during the November 8 general election.

Each of the classes will be presented by a certified instructor from the Master Gardeners of Ventura County.

Potential candidates for the three seats up for election can obtain candidate filing forms from the Ventura County Clerk-Recorder.

The district serves nearly 14,000 Oak Park residential and business potable water users.
