HALIFAX, October 18, 2013 Thirty key individuals and community organizations that have helped to make a difference in the lives of women and their children will be recognized today at an afternoon tea hosted by Brigadier-General, the Honourable J.J.

(Halifax) On October 25, 2013 the first Women Reshaping the World conference will be held at the World Trade and Convention Centre in Halifax, where 250 women and men will come together to discuss how women make a difference.

Twirp Communications, a Halifax-based social media agency, is growing to keep up with demand for social media services for small businesses in the area. Amanda Gore joins Head Twirp, Anita Hovey as Twirp Communications’ first full-time employee.
