United Studios of Self Defense (USSD), with more than 80 karate studios throughout California and the U.S., is opening its first studio in Calabasas. Its grand opening is Sunday, September 15.

After a four-week trial, an Orange County Superior Court jury returned a $7.7 million verdict in favor of United Studios of Self Defense (USSD) in a case against Z-Ultimate Self Defense Studios, Z-Ultimate Martial Arts Supplies and their owners.
