Chapel Hill resident artist Vickie Mitchell was awarded First Place in Painting at the Raleigh Fine Arts Society's 2009 North Carolina Artists Exhibition. The juror was Dr. Kimerly Rorschach, Director of the Nasher Museum at Duke University.
