The most recent Smith Travel Research (STR) report , which tracks hotel transaction statistics, reveals hotels in VenturaCountyWest (cities of Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura) are on pace to have one of their best occupancy years ever.

Los Angeles radio station K-EARTH 101 is giving away six overnight mini vacations to winners during the week of September 24. The contest prizes, which include one-night stays at local hotels, is courtesy of the Ventura County Lodging Association.

The Ventura County Lodging Association (VCLA) is losing one of its founding members, Jim Luttjohann, who has accepted a position as the director of the Convention & Visitors Bureau for Santa Fe, New Mexico.

When the Ventura County Lodging Association (VCLA) formed to bring business and leisure travelers to the cities of Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura, it knew it would first have to “brand” the area as a destination spot.

Fifty-eight hotels, motels, inns and RV campsites in Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura have formed the Ventura County Lodging Association (VCLA) to attract overnight leisure and business visitors to the area. V

Eighteen lucky contestants of 790/KABC-AM's "Taste of VenturaCountyWest" were treated to a weekend filled with fine dining, entertainment and ocean adventures. The contest was sponsored by the Ventura County Lodging Association (VCLA) and KABC-AM.

The Ventura County Lodging Association (VCLA) and 790/KABC-AM are currently giving away three day, two night weekend get-aways from March 30 to April 1 in Ventura County's most unique and vibrant cities: Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura.
