Ventura College Foundation

One of the new board members is Dr. Claudia Lourido-Habib, president of Ventura College, who began her tenure at the college earlier this month.

Of the 230 scholarship recipients, many received multiple scholarships.

Since the foundation's inception, it's raised over $48 million to benefit Ventura College students and programs.

The deadline for application submissions is January 21, 2024.

The gala will celebrate the successes of Ventura College students and the decades of board leadership and dedicated donors.

The new foundation board chair is Nicole Kreutz, vice president, senior portfolio manager at Montecito Bank & Trust.

Scholarship recipients come from all different backgrounds with different education and career goals.

The Ventura College Foundation has launched a fundraising effort to support the Ventura College Promise program. The program covers all tuition and fees for eligible students for up to two years.

$776,264 was provided in direct student support and $1.24 million went to 68 Ventura College programs across 16 departments and divisions.

The Aera Energy STEM Scholarship Fund will award annual scholarships to students interested in pursuing a career in the energy sector.
