The Wisconsin Philharmonic will open the 2010-2011 season, Return to Romance, on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 3pm at the Oconomowoc Arts Center with “The Romantic Spirit.”
The Wisconsin Philharmonic receives grant from National Endowment for the Arts The Wisconsin Philharmonic has been awarded $10,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts in support of their “Shining Stars Competition.”
The Wisconsin Philharmonic, along with 88 other orchestras across the country, was honored on June 18th, 2010 with the Gold Baton Award, given annually by the League of American Orchestras.
