The recent event honored Brigadier General Charles Young, (March 12,1964-Mays Lick, KY-January 8, 1922, Nigeria-burial Arlington National Cemetery) who was the 3rd Black graduate of West Point; 1st Black U.S. Army Colonel, among other achievements.
