Banana Festival

Four professional and award winning chefs from around Sacramento will compete on stage in the SMASHED banana challenge at the 2010 Banana Festival. The chefs will avoid elimination by creating a three course meal out of a bag of mystery ingredients.

Kids will be going bananas in a whole new way. In the dense jungle of activities at Sacramento’s first Banana Festival, kids will have a blast in fun and exciting ways. The Banana Festival is free to kids 11 and under August 13th-15th.

Sacramento's Banana Festival will be hosting the Homegrown Soul Finals live on the main stage. Each Thursday night during July, one or two top artists performing at the Homegrown Soul Show will be selected as finalists to perform at the festival.
