Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra and Bel Canto Chorus announce the second annual free commemorative tribute concert to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It will be held on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 5 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Institutional Church of God in Christ.

Bel Canto Chorus presents traditional carols, hymns, and seasonal music on Dec. 8 at 7:30PM, and Dec. 9 at 3:00PM and 6:30PM, at the Basilica of St. Josaphat. Concerts also feature organist Kevin Bailey, Bel Canto Boy Choirs and Stained Glass Brass.

Bel Canto Chorus will present Alexander Levine’s Prayers for Mankind on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Basilica of St. Josaphat. Tickets are $20-$25.

Bel Canto Chorus, under the direction of Richard Hynson, announces auditions for its 2012-13 Season. Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Mequon United Methodist Church. Auditions are by appointment between 10:00 AM and noon.

Bel Canto Chorus and Orchestra will present Dvořák's Stabat Mater under the direction of Richard Hynson on Sunday, May 20, 2012, 3:00pm at Christ King Parish in Wauwatosa, WI. Tickets are $23-$28. Senior and student discounts available.

Bel Canto Chorus is pleased to announce soprano Laura Strickling of Hickory Hills, IL as the winner of its 23rd Annual Regional Artists Competition. Strickling won a $1,000 prize and a solo engagement with Bel Canto Chorus for its 2012-13 season.

Bel Canto Chorus presents Maestro Richard Hynson's Evensong as the cornerstone of an afternoon of choral music on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 3:00 PM at St. Joseph Center Chapel in Milwaukee. Tickets are $20-$25. Senior and student discounts available.

Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee announces the 23rd annual Regional Artists Competition on April 21, 2012. Singers with strong oratorio experience audition for a solo engagement with the chorus during its 2012-13 season, and a $1,000 cash prize.
