Boss Up Magazine announces its very first awards ceremony, to celebrate and recognize emerging entrepreneurs! Since 2017, Boss Up Magazine has made black emerging entrepreneurs its focus – with continuous platform elevation.

CEOs Twanita Dozier (Boss Up Magazine) and Kimberly Lawson (Lawson Learning Academy, LLC) joined together to found The National Black Media and Press Association (NBMAPA).

Chicago native & Boss Up Magazine CEO, Twanita Dozier, launches The Boss Experience mobile app - designed to provide entertainment, resources, and connections of black owned businesses and brands to its app users.
