Coating of high-performance paddle mixers for biogas fermenters

During the extraction process, natural gas is very humid and therefore highly corrosive. Due to the high pressure and absorbed stones, extreme abrasion occurs on the internal walls of the whole pipeline system.

Last month a partner from Ceramic Polymer GmbH, Witaco-Tanktechnik from Hameln/Germany, has conducted an internal coating with highest product requirements.

Coatings for biogas applications have to provide chemical resistance, impact and abrasion resistance. The inspection of the specific substitution tanks after 3½ years shows highest performance of the Ceramic Polymer coating “Proguard CN 200”!

The Ceramic Polymer GmbH provides in their portfolio specific coating systems for the complete range of biogas applications. The new developed product-line “winter systems”can be applied at ambient temperatures down to minus 10°C.
