Schools who recycle iPhones are now eligible for up to $1000 in prize money when they participate in CFK's Great iPhone Treasure Hunt. CFK will be giving out cash for the value of recycled phones, as well as $1750 to the schools who collect the most.

Electronics recycling is becoming a preferred way for businesses to simultaneously further their green initiatives and increase community involvement. Businesses are able to accomplish both with programs like CFK and Recycle 4 a Cause.

Older versions of the iPhone are now worth up to $225 each when they are recycled. One company is not only paying the market value of the phones to the people who recycle them, but is adding incentive cash to encourage recycling.

Today, on the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, school activities celebrating the day of environmental awareness can actually increase the money schools have to operate on.

Obama's Earth Day message stressed the importance of communities coming together to make a difference. In keeping with the theme of community action, CFK has launched an Earth Day drawing, where participants are eligible to win cash.

Digital Wish & CFK have partnered to create Recycle Forward, a program that allows schools to raise money for new technology by recycling used electronics (cell phones, laptops, printer cartridges, digital cameras, etc.).

Due to the increasing market value of 100 different models of cell phones, inkjet cartridges, and laser cartridges, Cartridges for Kids (CFK) is now able to increase payments to their recyclers who send in these items.
