Consistent with recent expansions at The Chicago Lighthouse, its CRIS Radio is also growing. Broadcasting on a new station and time, CRIS reaches larger audience with programming specific to veterans, senior citizens, and people who are disabled.

Convenience store to some, invaluable opportunity for others. With approximately 70% unemployment, in the blind & visually impaired community, The Chicago Lighthouse is trying to fix this dire statistic by opening a convenience store to provide jobs.

On the evening of May 20th, over 500 supporters and friends of The Chicago Lighthouse filled the Four Seasons ballroom for a sold out event to remember.

Tools For Living, Chicago Lighthouse’s retail store designed for consumers who are blind or visually impaired, is bringing their inventory of adaptive technology, independent living items, home appliances, and much more to the Northwest suburbs.
