Christendom College

Christendom College will join the Vatican in celebrating the Beatification of Pope John Paul II at both its Front Royal, Va., and Rome, Italy, campuses.

Christendom College will hold a one-week Latin Immersion Program this summer from July 17-24 for high school students who will be entering their junior or senior year of high school in the fall.

During Christendom College’s spring break, 61 students traveled to Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and New York City for missionary work. The students’ work ranged from evangelization efforts to digging latrines.

Christendom College students star in a new video on Eucharistic Adoration produced by the Cardinal Newman Society (CNS). The video, entitled Adoration U, seeks to inspire college students to strengthen their faith through Eucharistic Adoration.

Acclaimed author and speaker, George Weigel, delivered a lecture to students and faculty at Christendom’s Rome campus on March 7.

Francis Cardinal Arinze, Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, will deliver two guest lectures in a course entitled Liturgy and the Consecrated Life this summer at Christendom College.

Acclaimed author and speaker George Weigel will deliver a lecture to students and faculty at Christendom College’s Rome campus on March 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Over 30 religious, priests, and laymen from across the country joined the students of Christendom College for its annual Discernment Weekend, held February 11-13.

Christendom's Front Royal campus will be very busy during the summer of 2011 with programs for youth and adults alike.

Author and Professor of Literature Dr. Michael Mack delivered a lecture entitled “Hamlet: Shakespeare’s Mousetrap?” to students and faculty at Christendom College on February 7.
