A small, environmental non-profit group filed suit in San Mateo County Superior Court to force the State of California to immediately rectify mismanaged areas of the state-owned Pescadero Marsh Nature Preserve, home to many endangered species.

A group of concerned citizens and conservationists announced formation of a non-profit organization determined to reverse the population decline of native species in and around the watersheds of San Mateo County.
