Cindy McCombe Spindler submitted the idea for a documentary titled “Cerebral Palsy in the 21st Century” as part of the World Cerebral Palsy Day “Change My World In 1 Minute” campaign.

Inventors, designers and developers from all corners of the globe are being urged to put their creativity to the test and turn three ideas into reality to help change the world for people with cerebral palsy.

The Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta (CPAA) invites members of the media to attend the third annual Empowering Edmonton event. A sponsor of the event has generously donated tickets to the event and members of the media can attend free of charge.

Alexandre Bilodeau, Canadian Olympic gold medalist in freestyle skiing, and his brother, Frederic Bilodeau, are Canada’s ambassadors for World Cerebral Palsy (CP) Day. Tuesday, September 4th, 2012, will be the first World CP Day.
