Welsh writer and photographer Dave Lewis has just released Africa Poems, his twenty-third book – a selected works of his 'African-themed' poetry from his last eight collections.

The Poetry Book Awards is an annual, international book award given to the best poetry books produced by indie writers, self published authors or books published by independent or small presses.

The 8th international Welsh Poetry Competition, 2014, was launched this week in Pontypridd, South Wales. This annual competition has gone from strength to strength each year and is now a significant part of the literary calendar.
