The Funeral Consumers Alliance of Georgia (FCAGa) has conducted a comprehensive survey to assess the availability and accessibility of General Price Lists (GPLs) among funeral homes in Atlanta.

Grieving relatives have long been uniquely vulnerable to being financially taken advantage of by funeral providers, because it can be difficult to obtain information about the options and costs of funerals.

A recent study by the Funeral Consumers Alliance, Inc. and the Consumer Federation of America surveyed 85 funeral homes with websites around Atlanta and found that only five (5.9%) had their General Price List (GPL) posted publicly on the internet.
